What is Off-Court Learning?

Parents: Want to get some shopping done, while knowing your children are being safely looked after, as well as learning life-long lessons?

Drop Shots Tennis & Golf has dedicated a portion of our facility to watch children with our child-care experienced staff. You can either drop your children off at your own convenience, or you can extend their tennis or golf lesson by up to 2 extra hours.

Children will be able to spend up to 3 hours learning about all other aspects of golf and/or tennis, such as history, rules, current events and more. They will also be able to participate in other off-court tennis and golf related activities such as watching recorded matches on tv, playing tennis or golf related board games, and more.

Your child is able to participate in 2 additional hours of off-court learning either before, or after his/her on-court tennis or golf lesson. Children are also able to participate in up to 3 straight hours of only off-court learning, if that is desired.

POLICIES

Ratio: 1: 7-10 Instructors to children, with a max of around 20 children.

Drop Off/Pick Up Policy: The individual dropping the child off is expected to be the individual picking the child up, unless otherwise discussed with the Drop Shots Staff member. If another individual will be picking up the child, their full name must be left prior to drop off, and a photo ID will be checked upon pickup.

Well Child Policy: All children must be in good health to be dropped off for off-court learning. Any child with other than a runny nose will not be admitted.

Items From Home: We are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items brought from home.

Behavioral Expectations: Children are expected to know and follow all Drop Shots rules and listen to their instructor at all times while in the facility. Failure to do so may result in the child being removed from the off court learning center and forfeiting all fees paid. Destructive, disruptive or dangerous behavior will result in the child being removed from the off-court learning center. Drop Shots, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to prohibit your child from participating in any activity due to such destructive, disruptive or dangerous behavior, with or without advance warning or notice.

Special Needs Children: Children with special needs are dealt with on an individual basis. Please inform our staff of any and all special needs that your child may have. We reserve the right to deem your child’s disability to be too difficult for our facility to handle.

Late: If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up your child, you will be charged $5 for each additional 15 minutes. If you are late after business hours, you will be charged $10 for each additional 15 minutes.
